After having a quick look around and leaving now I can't even tell you what the site was about. Too distracted with the wiz bang flash and didn't even think to look at what they're all about. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It doesn't say much for their strategy and branding when people leave without even knowing what they do. I can't say I like that kind of over the top flash. It's either an anoyance or a distraction and they didn't get their point across.Comment

Okay, as to this site: it is written about on tens of thousands of SE pages, so it has proved a great publicity tool. It's one of the best flash implementations I have seen, in that there is little if any lag before the page is visible and usable. Usually I would give a thumbs down to anything which requires surfers to re-learn browsing (and is somewhat clumsy to use), but the big pencil is addictive and must work wonders for visit times. It's also a great branding icon, more so - online at least - than Leo's bowl of apples could hope to be.Comment
