why would a content producer have to have a great domain? im sure it helps a little but if you have great content you can have a shit domain

There is no registered trademark being infringed, as far as I know.

People might have trouble being granted a TM on "reality" names, as numerous adult sites use the term in their web site names and domain names.

There is also the question of distinctiveness. "Reality" is part of our popular lexicon. "Reality Television" is even in Wikipedia:

To market anything, it requires two things.

1. A great product. In adult, that means content.
2. Great marketing. A domain name is part of marketing.

Sure, you can make some money with a great product and a lousy marketing. You just don't make as much.
