Your blog looks good, try doing a bit more text then what you currently have a few lines of text is great. Don't install a trade script and skim your blog traffic, use it for a toplist and send out traffic there but don't skim.

Yep, blog traffic is about quality not quantity.

SE loves keyword rich text and quality backlinks.

Good looking blogs, surfers do like pictures. But you have to type a little bit more text in your blog entries, search engines like text. You should also get a couple sites to link to your blog, you can do that by link trading with other blogs or by submitting your blog to blog directories, you can do that with the blog submitter:
