Anyway there is nothing to fear. Obama has already promised to cancel the missile defense systems. It was one of campaign promises. The Russians are just reminding him of his promise. He will be backing down on this issue (and many others) as soon as he is inaugurated. The Russians are just trying to make it look they they forced the change in policy even though Obama is on record as being opposed to the missile defense system.
