Because asian people don't like that look but like the mixed look like Tila Nguyen and Sasha Singleton better. Most of my asian female friends want to "look" like girls who look "mixed" and "plastic", it's more in style. No one that I know wants to look more "asian".
Well, I'm asian and personally I think the americanized asians look better than the "Asian look" people. I don't like Tila though because she has a flat face. I like the plastic asian look like Kira Kener and Lynn Thomas. I don't like people who look traditionally asian even though I'm asian myself. I'm not sure there is a specific type Americans look for. Hot is hot. As long as they aren't the native Thai or Malay type chicks with the wide noses the general US likes it.
