Fossa, the nasal cavity you speak of are your sinus cavities, located in behind your nose and leading up into your forehead. These cavities can get pretty clogged up with mucous when suffering from a cold, and I find that drinking a hot lemon drink like Neo-Citron helps. Plus it knocks the shit outta me and helps me sleep.

Btw, snot is not dust, it is the material generated by glands in your sinus cavities to collect and carry away germs and other crap that you have breathed in. Just keep honkin your horn until you feel better bro, that's about all you can do, other than drinking lots of juices and eating right.
