The views will be updated once an hour. On my forum (200k raws, ~6k posts/day) I've noticed a significant decrease in load.

There is many options that crank down the vB performance, but this one is particularly useless.

And with all the reloading bots who are pulling 1000s of views per minute in contests this will probably help with the lagging.

Yeah, I also think GFY is running on some servers they just found on some alley. It's not as adult.com has money or connections to the hosting world.
