POLL: Do you think hyperinflation is coming?

Do you think hyperinflation is coming 2006-2008?

I want trendsman to chime in here, didn't know he was on this board until recently. I have been following his blog and also have been reading other anaylist predictions and they all think its a commodities/gold/energy market to be in long term.

Please give a concise reason as to what you think will happen with the US economy over the next 1-3 years and also what investments you made to *put your money where your mouth is*

if you do not even invest, then please keep your comments to yourself.

Too much thinking required. No opening for snappy remarks. Result: poor thread views.

    bump.

I don't know about hyperinflation but enough inflation to hurt.

      1. High gas prices caused by instable Middle East
      2. Weak $
      3. Loss of manufacturing and China will eventually raise prices 27%

Nah. If you take out energy prices, US inflation is decent.

I don't have enough spare money to invest in gold and stuff like that ... I wish I had for safety, but I'ma have to suffer from the US GOV fuckups when this happens.

I don't think so, inflation was at it's lowest levels since ww2, now it's going up a bit, it's a normal cycle
