I have an option to purchase exclusive internet rights to 300,000 pics in different niches. What is something like this worth? I have no idea what to offer the guy thats reasonable?

Id say number of factors.
Are they good quality, hi res images?
Are they complete sets, and not individual pics (sets would be worth more)
Can you use them or do you intend to re-sell them.

It sounds extremely unlikely that someone would be sitting on 2,800 unsold (they must be unsold, otherwise how could they be exclusive?) content sets. Factoring in every saving possible, that still represents a large investment of time and money, spent over some considerable time. Why on earth would someone put all that into a venture and make no attempt to recoup?
Several years ago I was made a similar, but smaller scale offer and although the pictures did exist, once I requested thumbs of them all and not only sight of a handful of samples, it was immediately clear that they were useless. There has to be a catch of some kind...Comment
