I say mix it up. Some people are looking for 1 thing and 1 thing only, but to fit the population you have to have something for everyone. You can always have a main TGP with all, then subcategories, or smaller TGPs that are 1 category only.

if you need a universal niche... maybe your only problem is the name of the site....

It´s mostly based on main site with all Cats , and subsites with Categories .

But u can do only Niche TGP ..
Traffic will be smaller , but conversions better ...
