Selling a Black 30 GB Video IPOD.

I'm selling my black 30 GB Video Ipod. This is in excellent condition, neartly new, used only about 15 times total. I still have the original box and everything else!

I figured I would give GFY first dibs before putting it on ebay. It retails for $300 at stores. Looking for $220 or best offer.

    Thanks.

I'm pretty disappointed in the ipod and it's support. After spending $$$ on the ipod itself, we are forced to buy an extended warranty for more$$$ and if you don't buy an extended insurance policy, you are Shit out of luck.

The "Ipod Genius'" at the apple store won't even look at the unit unless you've purchased the extended warranty WTF???

What a waste of $$$.. I hope the gadget that microsoft comes out with has better support and it lasts longer than a year!

I am really glad I got my ipod from freeipods.com and I didn't pay for it, because while it is a really cool mp3 player, I would never buy something this bulky and poorly designed

twice now I have powered it up only to find out I lost everything on it

nope, my ipod is a windows ipod and set to act as an external hard drive...I don't even use Itunes, I use XPlay

someone said it has something to do with the hard drive going bad, cause usually when it does it, it has not touched a computer in week. I only update new music on it every 2 weeks or so

last time it did it I had it turned off for 2 days, then went back everything was gone

I will tell you this though, since I put linux on my ipod and started using that as the main OS, I have not had any issues with it whatsoever, that was about 2 months ago

and I can use the top jack input to record now too

My kid got lucky and won a 30GB Video Ipod in a raffle a few days ago. Filled it up with all the Family Guy episodes and I haven't heard a peep out of him since.

How did you change the OS? Didn't think you could do that on an ipod.

                              http://ipodlinux.org/Podzilla

it is called Podzilla, it has SO many more features...such as more games, more "stuff" and best of all RECORDING from either a line in source or microphone

you restart the ipod by holding middle button and menu together for 5 seconds, then when it start to restart you hold down the |<< button while it starts and it boots into linux

What? Are you saying the IPOD is bulky?? This thing is so small and compact it's unreal!
