The Republicans are in more trouble than just the presidency. Many republican members of congress are in serious danger of losing their long undisputed seats to new Democrats. I feel it's a result of the countries backlash from the Bush years. The voters are VERY MUCH like student drivers.. we overcorrect and the result is going to be a massive sweep. And while I wish "Bush" never happened, I also dont wish for a completely 1 sided government on the other side. We'll see.. we'll see.. it's all very interesting.

Where I live we have a republican senator up for re-election and he is down in the polls to the democrat, but it is only by a few points so the race is very close. They are now airing ads that are warning people about letting the democrats control 60 seats in the senate with a democrat in the white house. So basically they are throwing McCain under the bus and admitting he is going to lose the election in hopes of hanging on to a few more senate seats.Comment
