    Why Does It Take 4 Fucking Years To Get Computer Programming Training?

    I wanted to go back to school and double up law and computer programming.

    Dude told me it's still 4 years to get full computer programming training.

    4 years??? WTF does it take so long?

      if you wanna learn how to develop complex systems in c++ in shit like that 3-4 years is a minimum....

      but why become a programmer, become a system designer instead

      if you just wanna learn web orientated programming, that shouldn't take more than a year of intensive courses.

          That's a typical undergraduate degree term. It took me 5 years but I did a double major in Combinations and Optimatorics as well (don't ask, lol).
