Glenlivet 15...About to crack it and start sippin....you?

I'm gonna fire up the woodstove and hit either the Glenfiddich 15 or the Macallan 15.

Then its pumpkin carving time.

Much resprect bvf, its a great scotch

Even though I'm a mccallans(spellcheck please) drinker.

I'm sticking with ice tea until a bit later in the day, then the goose and bull will make a appearance.

Don't like scotch. Bourbon and tequila only.

I'm not the biggest fan of Glenlivet. I bought some of it and some Bruichladdich at the same time to test some scotches I hadn't tried and it came off second best, and I'm not even particularly crazy about bruich. That said, it was the 12yo.. Got a 15yr old Glenfiddich at home i'm not a fan of either... I tend to give it to guests... don't know what it is about it... was expensive as fuck but I like cheaper blends like Chivas more.. Maybe they're just easier to drink.
Personally I still can't go past Laphraoigs or Lagavulin. I had a friend over and got the lagavulin out and they went "oh, I saw this on the west wing - the president was drinking it!" and besides feeling like a massive wanker, and also knowing full well it was just product placement I did have a small chuckle to myself as they reverentially sipped at this shot of liquid gold carefully when i'd been drinking it from the bottle like a hobo the day before. I only got it because I read a review comparing it to Laphraoigs but it's only mostly awesome.
