Do people actually like these?

I find it more annoying than anything... what I mean by the "reverse psychology" trend meaning banners for a company that say something like "Stop this company they are ruining the industry"... or threads that say "Damn you XYZServers" and then go on about how the poster is in love with the company etc

it seems to be an every day occurence lately that sucks
