I've got about $300 worth of pillows on my bed and they are all pretty thick. This notebook runs very hot. That was their only complaint about it in the reviews.

They were right.

Try use one of the first generation P4 3.0 Fujitsus. Mine could fry eggs and burn though hard drives at the same time. Would have to sit in a walkin freeze to keep the thing running
