I shoot mostly students, low wage earners and unemployed. They are still on a low wage, higher than ten years ago, but they are walking past designer shops and they want to be well dressed. ;)

yes, true the young chicks 18 - 19 that still go to school are something different.. they cant get a job yet and some of them really need (or want
money.. but then many chicks that would be suitable (meaning nice) will better try normal modeling or some non nude posing :-( They will hardly get into some fetish.
As for the average salary well that also depends on where do they live, which city. In our capital there are tens of shops (in the shopping centers) offering a job all the time.. My friend worked there as a seller getting around $800 monthly for sitting on the chair and browsing the net all day since not many people went to the shop, and that is a good money for a seller in my country.
