The firmware Linksys provides for their routers is shit. A lot of the features work poorly. Using 3rd party firmware makes it much better. You can tweak out you router more i n depth. Increase your wifi signal. Monitor your monthly bandwidth (useful if you're a Comcast user) and much more. Check out
