Haha well cider is in effect unclear apple juice. So crush and strain.
I would perhaps just consider making apple sauce, or dehydrating them.Comment

If your capable of wood work, it is easy to make a simple screw press. I am sure you could rig one up out of stuff most any well stocked workshop would have in it. Such as some screw clamps, some wood, a chisel, some cheese cloth, etc.
Or you could just get a juicer.
Huh? People use the skin all the time when making juice and cider. Hell companies that just use the flesh send the skin off to be pressed for juice. Seriously when was the last time you seen a food juicer with a warning about not using apples in it?
Now seeds may be seen as questionable, not that many have ever concerned themselves with them. If concerned one could easily core the apples first.Comment

I have been using apple cider from wild apples in the past, that thing almost burned my scalp.Huh? People use the skin all the time when making juice and cider. We have over a dozen orchards within about 5 miles of my house, but I buy their cider there
Besides pies and baked apples, one thing I like to make is apple butter in the crock pot:
CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER
Put 3 quarts of apples, sliced thin, in a crock pot and cook overnight on high. Next morning, add 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 3 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Cook all day on low. Tastes like old-fashioned apple butter that is cooked in copper kettle.
You can use applesauce if you do not have time to prepare the apples. The crock pot makes it possible for apples to cook a long time without being stirred.
(copied off the interwebs - I peel and core the apples first but that's because I have a neat contraption that does one in about 2 minutes
)
