We've always had progressive income tax in this country. Every industrialized nation has progressive income tax.
ALL TAXES are a redistribution of wealth. Government takes money from people, and uses it (hopefully) for the betterment of the entire society.

Obama wants to put tax rates for top earners, and for capital gains, back to where they were during the Clinton administration.
All of you fucking chicken littles were predicting a massive recession and major unemployment when Clinton raised taxes on the top bracket to 39.6%.......and then we went on to create 22 million new jobs, move more people from the lower class to the middle class and more people from the middle class to the upper class than any 8 year period in our history.

So just STFU with your "socialist, redistribution, going to kill the economy" bullshit, because the facts are not on your side.
