Hey shap how are the roads and the healthcare in the bahamas? Can you drive there without having fear for your life or for the shocks on your car?
Roads are shit (they are paved though lol). Traffic is a bitch and a growing problem. The road system is poorly organized and the island is much too small for the number of cars on the island. Not to mention 90% of the people here can't drive for shit AND Drinking and Driving is legal. But don't worry we have a seatbelt law for those DUI accidents. I don't fear for my life when driving. It's safe in that regards and the shocks are ok until the salt in the air rusts them out.
Healthcare is shit as well. I haven't had to use it but from what i've heard if you have a bad accident of any sort they'll ship you to Miami for treatment.

...Are you raising kids there?
Not yet. If we have kids we'd stay here until the kids were around 5 to 7 years old and then move out. Most people raise their kids here til no later than 10 years old. then send them off for better schooling.

And has anybody stolen anything from you or your home yet?
KNOCK on wood. Thank god no. We've been very lucky but we have also been very smart. We live in a gated community and pay a crazy amount in rent to be in a good area.
