I don't see a problem with making 10 sales a day if you work hard at it.

A few things I would change...
1. The outter wrapper doesn't go to the middle of the page

Code:

Try that...

2. Instead of Windows being WMV and Mac being MOV tell them the formats instead of the suggested operating system.

3. Sex tracker counter on the bottom is a traffic leak.

Edit: also on http://www.northwestwetspot.com/updates.htm you're trying to sell them fleshlights and dating (AFF) thats traffic leaks also. Save it for the members area.

Edit 2: Might also consider cleaning up http://www.northwestwetspot.com/ccbill/index.htm to make it easier to know what they are buying and for how much.

is it pretty impossible to get 10 sale/day without affiliates? unless we're getting accepted on all the major tgps?

Our first gallery we submitted to the hun got accepted and we got a couple sales off of it.

I know many sites who have like 10-20% aff sales and still make decent sales. If youre charging $29,95 or so and after fees keep $25 then youre doing more then fine.

But thats not easy, gotta build a name, google traffic, direct typeins etc. And building a programs revenue 100% on TGP sales isnt what Id do.

If you wanna submit your own fhg then do, lotsa smaller prgs do as a start, but the minute theyre there, affiliates will email and ask if they can promote, esp if you manage to get a nice topspot on the bigger TGPs.

Make a mix, work hard on the aff prg, great tools, no leaks, good content, updates and youll be there in no time

You can have the best site design and best content on the fastest server and not get any sales. It depends on your traffic. How are we supposed to know if you can produce 10 sales a day?

At any rate, if you can't produce 10+ sales a day, you have no business starting a paysite. Thats just wasted money.

few tips

- remove the aff banner, affiliates hate leaks
- put the recurring membership first, rebills is what its all about
- put some join links or easier to navigate buttons on the tour
- put some textlinks join - members - tour there for dailup ppl

we've actually been building the site for about 6 month, just haven't promoted it because we want to have a lot of content. We already got a coupe emails from ppl that want to join our affiliate program and I think we're getting sales off of them too even though we haven't provided any aff content.

should we focus a lot of our time on getting our affiliate program up first rather then trying to get traffic ourselves?

as far as the design, I don't really like it, but like someone says, sometimes when it looks amateurish, it actually sells.

An amateurish looking tour isn't a problem as long as the strategy behind it is right. And I don't think using nudity right off the bat is a good strategy. I'd put more thought into how the tour progresses and how you want to manipulate the surfer.

no traffic = NO sales...

we know that,,we have not even scratched the surface marketing wise and we make sales but not great numbers yet..

regarding the "amateur" look we get comments that ours looks to polished and to make it more amateur... you cant win you cat please everyone....do what you do and tweak it when you need it...one thing to remember is whatever you tweak the effect is almost instant so if if works, do it again, if not change it quick..

but you aint gettin 10 sales a day without affiliates..

the big question is

WHERE ARE ALL THE AFFILIATES ???

are you talking about the design wise? or content?

we'll eventually hire a better design that has experience doing adult tours to redesign, we just got some local designer to do the current one.

truth is "amateurish" looking sites can convert as good (or better) than slick cookie cutter sites if the content is good.

no time for me to critique content today, but:

1. make tour cleaner, get rid of traffic leaks, change default pricing roster in ccbill form to show non-recurring option last (and at a higher price)...this will give higher yields once you start getting signups.

2. concentrate on your content. make it unique. talk about what is in the member area, how often you update, etc. if it truly is exclusive original amateur content that should be your "hook"---so push that concept.

3. get rid of bullshit extraneous sales on your index pages (fleshlight, etc)---if your content is original this depreciates your site big time.

You can get 10+ sales a day on your own, you just need to get the traffic, or get a model who becomes extremely popular, like a Christinamodel. I don't think the guy who runs that network of *****model.com has ever had an affiliate program.
