I've seen that before and obviously drug use is not good for you, but I don't know if I trust those images.
Where do the before pictures come from? Are they mug shots? Are those all people who just happened to get arrested exactly 1 year after their first arrest when they were clean?

Yes they are mug shots.
If you look at the dates, none of them say exactly one year later.

There have been many specials on this issue, and those pictures of those same people. So your for your 'trust' issues. Get out a bit more. They came from some Oregon sheriffs department.
people like to think alcohol is not as bad as meth, ever been to an AA meeting or watched people on their deathbed from drinking? I have LOL i say this as an ex-drinker.
From what I have seen while they are tweaking they have a tendency to pick and scratch at an area for long periods of time. Sort of very obsessed with it.

that's what i've heard as well, but don't they need something to pick at? or do they just dig a hole? i guess i was wondering if the drug causes an outbreak that they then scratch at or something along those lines.

its where the chemicals from meth bubble out of your skin. speed bumps, crank bugs etc...
similar to those steroid bumps people get from shooting steroids.
"One of the many side effects of crystal meth addiction is formication, aka, speed bumps, meth sores, crank bugs.
Heavy stimulant use causes a rise in body temperature and increased blood flow to the skin to counteract it.The produced sweat contains an enzyme that increases blood flow to the skin even more. When the sweat evaporates, it removes the protective sebaceous oil which coats the skin.
The combined effects of dehydration, sweating and removal of the sebaceous oil on the skin create a sensation on the nerve endings on the skin and cause the addict feelings of something irritating or "crawling" on or under (Delusional Parasitosis) the skin. Also to be mentioned here is that the skin is an escape route for the toxic wastes used to create the drug. "

Yep. And meth is basically a poision. it is literally battery acid and lye and other bad things cooked together so it kills off your immune system so those sores have a harder time healing.
There is a famous line from a Nirvana song that goes, "Got so high....I scratched till I bled."

Whats wrong with these people having those huge sores and not even caring?
I would DIE if I had to walk around with huge bumps/sores like that on my face. I probably wouldn't leave the house but I guess those addicts only care about their drugs and don't care what their face looks like.
Can someone please post a link to "faces of alcohol", like how fucken ugly people can get after drinking for years? Besides the pic of the one blonde dude already posted above. I want to see a bunch of them.
