    How do I make animated gifs?

    I have some movies that I want to take small sectins from and convert to animated gifs? any ideas as to what programs I might need?

                  You can use Virtualdub to export image sequences, which you can then turn into a gif file. Adobe Premiere allows you to export gif sequences from video files.
