BMW X6 - Cool car or not?

My BMW X5 is starting to get a bit tired so its time for a change.

I've been looking at the Audi Q7 but I think its just a bit 'too' big.

One car that does look really cool I think is the new BMW X6, but in pictures in can look a bit gawky.

What do you think, should I go for one of just stick to a new X5 instead?

I think it looks like a rotted monkey ass. My neighbour has one and I hate it. I have a 325i, and I love bmws, owned 3 now. But this thing is an abomination.

Don't go for the X6 or the X5

The Q7 is better, trust me.

I've had all 3 of those and if you're looking for a hot ass European SUV, go for the Q7.

Although right now I'm into Japs..

But that's mainly because the roads are horrible where I drive. I still have the Q7 and love it.

It is a sweet car with lots of cool features. I've driven the vehicle, the standard one, not the 5.0 .. and it is a neat car. I at first thought this thing was stupid (From that exact concept photo you posted, which I believe is a little off from what the actual production looks like) But after seeing the vehicle in person it's pretty sweet. Make sure you get the updated rims though, the expensive ones.. Not the 6k upgrade but the step below that. Black ones look nice, along with white (Vehicle color, not rims, LOL). Make sure you get the floor boards as well, really complete the look.

OH and as far as if you should get the new X5.. I have driven that as well, and they are two different cars. If you get a new x5 with all the options (Only way too go) I think it might run you a little more than the new x6 with all the options (80Kish, but that was 3 months or so ago) ... And I think the x6 is a little more exclusive.

drove the x5 and it felt like i was driving a jeep. not a very smooth ride and didn't feel very solid. i got a mercedes ML350 instead. mo betta!!

I believe its about 10k more than the x5 which seems to much.. I owed a 4.4 X5 fully loaded from 2000 - 2005 and it was a great car for the first 4 years until the warranty expires then it cost be $3000 in ball shit problems so I traded it for my Porsche...

Combined Fuel consumption on both Diesel engined cars is supposed to be about 34 mpg. And the reviews rate it highly due to its 'car like' handling, most saying it handles much better than even the Porsche Cayenne.

Personally I'd go for a Range Rover Sport. I love BMW but I think the RR Sport is an amazing car. It also looks better than the X5 and X6.

that vehicle sucks off road LOL that thing doesn't even have the ground clearance for any mud holes... Vehicles like that look horrible lifted so quit thinking you have an off road vehicle!

I love my 08' X3, and would probably consider getting the X3 down the road. Nothing beats the ride of a BMW, matched with the features and sportiness. I actually like the look of the X6.
