Thats what having no plans or policies in place does. When McCain and Palin embody everything they throw at Obama, you would hope people get a little informed.
Now it seems like people are starting to really notice.
Shoulda stuck to issues, created a responsible plan for the economy, and maintained control.

The other day Palin was again going after Obama over the Ayers thing. Obama responded by saying if McCain was this upset about Ayers why didn't he ever mention it during the debates to which McCain said he thought that sounded like a good idea and he would bring it up in the next debate.
You have to assume Obama has a big counter punch ready if McCain does this. Will he be foolish enough to fall for the trap? I would guess yes because he is officially desperate and now seems willing to say anything to get elected.

One could only hope he goes there.
There is plenty in McCain and Palin's past that tie them directly to people just as bad or worse than anything being thrown at Obama.
Matt Drudge is trying to paint the narrative as "OMG!!!1 New York Times Poll is in the tank for Obama".
He posts polls from Zogby and Rasmussen as rebuttals....2 GOP Pollster tools (figuratively and literally).
Drudge is preaching to the choir. I have a feeling the frequent visitors to his site that rely on him for their news are going to get a HUGE shock on the morning of November 5th.
i still dont think that the honkeys in washington are gonna let it happen.
like chris rock said "you got more votes than the other guy, too bad ya didn't win"
they will fuck the election on purpose. i still think its gonna be another florida debacle, and maybe throw ohio in there too.
the american people swallowed it once, it isn't beyond the realm of belief that they'd try the same thing twice.
People won't swallow this time..too much time/ money /emotions invested...there is a ground swell under the surface that will blow up if some bullshit goes down..folks are whispering

They can steal Ohio and Florida and still lose by a landslide. Obama is going to win all the Kerry states and he is going to take Iowa and New Mexico from the republicans. That means he only has to win any one of the remaining 10 swing states and he wins. McCain has to win every swing state so he would have to pull some kind of debacle in all of them and this year the DNC has 4,000 lawyers on standby waiting for issues.
yup, he'll win.
The little people will get a few bucks... maybe even for 8 years.
Then, they will take it all back again.
It's the circle of life Simba
Keep on Truckin ...

A 14 point underdog is a solid bet when your dealing with the Mighty whitey!
After that blind closes in the booth the true colors come shining thru........
Left loosey, righty whitey. "McCain in the membrane"
According to David Plouffe the Obama Campaign has a "team of volunteer attorneys waiting and prepared" for any pre/post election challenges. He basically told the GOP to bring it on...
Reagan was down substantially (7-12 points I think) on October 26th, 1979.
Yup...but Jimmy Carter and the Democrats were thought to be responsible for the struggling economy at the time. Carters Presidential approval rating was under 30% at the time.
Let's not forget that Teddy Kennedy from my great state of Massachusetts threw him under the bus at the convention.
Not sure where you're getting that 7-12 point lead from...Carter's lead going into the last debate was practically within the margin of error...I can't find the exact numbers but I know it has been described as tiny.
Don't think that Obama and his staff are dumb enough not to realize the parallels between these two elections. They've realized that they are on the right side of history. That's why they have chosen to attach McCain to George Bush and the failing economy. The most telling sign is Obama and his surrogates flipping Ronald Reagans famous line "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" to "Are you better off now than you were eight years ago in the Clinton administration?" Anyone whose studied the elections of the past knows that line put the nail in the Carter coffin.

Obama is actually saying " Are you better off now than you were 4 weeks ago"
On the Mccain economic speech today, Obama says " A day late and 101-million middle class families short"
on the market crisis " Your 401K is looking like a 101k , now"
