and exactly how do you intend to send traffic? Your gallerie links arent even coded to be counted through trade script?

**Egomancer** · 07-04-2006, 06:11 AM

The galleries are not going through the trading script (obviously), but the links are coded to get through the trading script. I do not see why I should get my galleries through that script...

Then how do you plan on determining which trades are productive? You won't know how many clicks your trade sends you because the whatever.php&url= string isnt there, so you will never know how many clicks you got from a trade? You might as well just remove the trade script & go for straight hardlinking, because I don't see anything at all indicating that you're "Trading" traffic..

Let's put it this way. If a "real trade" sends you 200 uniques, how do you plan on sending 200 back to that trade? Do you really think 200 unique surfers are going to click the linkback? That is not traffic trading.

I was wondering that myself. I see you signed up at LikeTheSex.com for a trade, but until you actually have a way to send me traffic the trade wont kick in.

Well,

The idea was that I put you the link and when someone clicks on that link it gets to you and the particular click is counted. Then you send me back an user (traffic trading). Simple stuff.

I personally hate to click on some link and to be directed to something else. If something like that happens to me I never ever visit the site back because I click on what I want to see not on what the webmaster wants me to see.

Now I am just testing the system and if I see that it does not work I will just start to buy traffic. I stongly believe that the visitor (customer) will come back if it is treated right. And 1000 hits is like 7$ - not such a big price if you ask me. I have a theory which I want to test and see if I am right. We will see in the next 3 months.

lol... ok.. whatever..

and in 3 months you'll still be in the same position,, I am only trying to help.. So now, let's do it your way.. go ahead & do it the hardway & waste the next 3 months & in 3 months you will still have no traffic!!
Your using a tradescript to count # of clicks sent out to hardlinks?? You're not even linking back to your hardlinks with straight linking either,,, what's the benefit to anybody to "hardlink" with you if what they're getting is not a hardlink, but a out.php link that SE don't see?? What is the benifit of anyone to trade traffic if you have nothing in place to send any??
