"I like the way the Republicans ... want smaller government that stays out of the private lives of citizens..."
I hear people say this a lot but I can't think of any real life examples of Republicans wanting to stay out of people's private lives. It seems just the opposite to me. They want to control marriage, sex, porn and other adult entertainment, births/abortion rights and more. Can you name some specific examples of areas where Republicans advocate staying out of personal affairs?
