I was over by the Daytona Beach airport today when all the fighter jets were taking off that were here for the races. Those damn things make a hell of a lot of noise, was 6 of them all taking off one right after the other.
You couldn't even talk to someone right next to you.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds,--and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless falls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, nor eer eagle flew--
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high, untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.

Nice poem.
Here's another one about flight:
Wright
His chin ascends a prow unto the quest
along the arc the eyes have sought to rest
upon a vision crawling from the West
a tiny thing as small against the sky
as I am on the land but for my eye
enlarged to such proportions by that sight
for knowing that a wing-ed thing has come
from all we knew of flight or since have done
to put a metal bird before the Sun.
Those tax dollars are actualy very well spent. Better than most other tax dollars. Seeing those birds fly, has brought more children to grow up and want to be fighter pilots. And the Americans have the very best pilots in the world.
