My brother just lost his account he's had for over 3 years trying to sell it. Basically, the deal went bad and then he contacted the GM's in game to get his shit back, after he handed everyhting over to the dude, who did a charge back in paypal. And the GM's responded that he was trying to "game the system" so he's out of a few level 70's
Now he's playing Warhammer, heh.
