Well, you said you've had this as long as you can remember which probably means you are not going to drop dead any time soon.
I have irregular heart beats and palpitations and scares the shit out of you. I've had every test known to man, they've recorded the irregular beats, seen them on a echo stress test but just told me to live with it since they can't find any cause for it.
Go to the Doc for sure, but be prepared to leave without any answers.
