1. Cogent gave AR connectivity back, to help clients move. Cogent lost 100 some odd gbps of business with the death of Alphared. If AR's clients can make it off AR's network, there's a good chance they'll end up on other Cogent routes, helping to trim their losses.
2. Sites are flying because so many people are leaving. Alphared's legandary network congestion is dying slightly before them.
