Here's the trailer:
And here's a synopsis:
During the raging and widely unpopular Iraq war, the Republican Administration is busy crafting another victory in the elections when chief political consultant David Murch (Jon Tenney) makes a phony, though moving plea on national television. While speaking on a cable news political talk show, he makes just one wish that a grieving mother?s deceased son, and all deceased soldiers, could return home and tell us how important it was that he gave their life protect ours, and to serve this country. The statement is PR gold and it is soon worked into the Presidents speech at a political rally and everything seems to be moving swiftly in their favor. But soon, the dead soldiers actually begin to rise from their flag-draped coffins as they are shipped home for burial (one of the film?s best moments). However, instead of searching for flesh, the walking dead have something far more horrific: to cast their votes!
At first, the zombies are hailed as a message from our almighty savior who has sent these men back home ? fulfilling our glorious President?s wish. That is, until they begin to say why they have returned. During a press conference, a zombie solder speaks. He tells the American people that he died for a lie, as there was no reason to invade the country that we did. The thousands of walking dead war vets plan to vote for anyone who opposes the war. Obviously, they?re not so welcome by our administration anymore.
