My father goes to a local convenient store most evenings to sip coffee and chat with some other local ne'er-do-wells. Due to the up-coming election, the topic of abortion came up. He said he was amazed as two older women discussed how horrible abortion is and why they are against it. "They wait until the baby is born and then they crush its skull!" He tried to explain that it's a relatively simple procedure that takes place very early in the pregnancy, but they were so stupid, and so convinced by what had passed as truth to them for so long, that he couldn't make them understand.
It's fucking amazing how stupid people are and how happy they are with their ignorance.
