Now i know why i avoid dentists...

So for the last week or so i have been having bad tooth pains so today i finally goto the dentist... and they say i have a wisdom tooth comign in on top and that it and one on the bottom are bitting my cheek when i close my mouth and thats whats causing the pain,... so i ask to setup an appointment to have it removed and they said september 16th... uhhh... why would i wanna wait 2 months for a dentist appointment when the pain hurts me enough to want to go into today...

i'm just gonna get a pliers out and pull it myself... fucking hate dentists...

and about finding another dentist, i live in bumfuck iowa.. theres only 1 in my town, and the closest town is an hour away... im to lazy to drive all the way there... right now...

and the pain will subside in a few days? sure it will, had the pain for over a week now...

i'll probably keep popping some ibuprofen and ignore it for a while and maybe it will subside, im not worried...

Well genius you answered you own question. You have to wait 2 months because he is the only dentist in town so everyone uses him. It's called making an appointment. You wait your turn like everyone else. You could ask to be put on a call list in case anyone cancells.

I didn't get mine until I was in my 20's. I had my first one taken out just 4years ago when I was 33. The 2nd one last year. I still have the 2 bottom ones though the one on the right needs to come out soon because it's impacted.
