    streaming video that only works with wmp???

    how and why do some streams only work with windows media player?

    ... and refuse to open in firefox, and if I open them in gom player or anything else they show the first second or two and then freeze?

    ...and the streams have the "save as" option greyed out in windows media player?


    anyone have any tips on dealing with streams like that and how to get them to work in firefox?

          do you have the wmp plugin for firefox ?

          I would suspect it has something to do with your default player in firefox.

          Point us to an example streaming url.
