This doesn't have much to do with the original topic of the thread, but I really don't understand the people who think there is only one way to do things, ie, men and women should only fuck and have kids and that's it, or that everyone has to get married/settle have kids and that's it. Some people seem to think that anyone who thinks differently just hasn't figured out the "truth" yet.

You want to know the real truth? Everyone and every situation is different. Trying to make everyone fit into one box... whether that's the "marriage and soul mate and kids" box or the "fuck and run box" is just silly. There's not one particular way we "have" to live in order to be "right." Some people go through different stages in life, some people may never feel the need to settle down, others may never feel the need to have a one night stand. Why do you assume that your way is everyone's way? We all work in an industry which requires some pretty open-minded thinking, why, when it comes to this kind of thing, does everything turn into a black and white issue all of a sudden?
