If I date someone outside of the industry; I always say I work in Internet Marketing before I reveal any other details. If they make it past 2 dates, then I will reveal more than that. The first meeting and couple of dates should be about getting to know someone. Granted, I care that you have a job and that you like your job and that you are a driven person... but I don't really need details outside of that right up front. I have dated people I work with and that definitely makes it easier to be able to talk about the industry, but at the same time attending conventions with jealous boyfriends is no fun. For some reason, the people I've dated outside of the industry seem to find my work talk terribly boring. Then again, I don't get to be on porn sets either.
Now as far as your need for a successful, strong, and encouraging partner who enjoys anal and tushy massages and long walks on the beach... I totally fit the bill.
