i was just thinking about this, who pays who? does anyone even get paid considering both parties benefit?

They get free shit, expenses paid and are usually promoting something. So in a way, yes and no. -
If they dont have a product to promote then yes. I still remember a program where Jean Claude Van Dam was paid $10k in cash to appear. The program was a chat show which showed the back stage stuff.

yes they do get paid. For the most part they all get the same which, from what I understand, is around 5K or so and many of them agree to let the money got to charity. Plus they get gift bags and, of course, they get to promote. If there is a hot guest out there the dollar amount might go up. for example the first late night host to get Angelina Jolie now that she is in the news everyday would be a big deal so they may offer more to her than normal.Comment
