I use speedatron force 10's and force 5's . . have a few other assorted speedos around too . . this was a force 5 with a white umbrella . . I shoot close to room abient when I use 1 lite . . everything goes in to pp so I don't really sweat the capture as much as some guys might . . within a stop and a good WB will get me in the park . . shot with the 28-70/2.8 . . 'cause good glass does mater
got mine for 3099 . . . gonna last a long time and then sell for about 1500 when I upgrade . . the lens I used cost about 1600 . . when I'm no longer shooting 'content' I'll go medium format with the hassie . . .
thanks guys . . I was sweatin' bullets about the 4 meg however I thinks it's gonna be fine . . . puts out a real servicable image for sure . .they print nice too . . did a test with Lexi Bell
Not bad at all. Looks fresh, clear, bright, nice motif (hot chix0r). Rock on.
Oh, how much was the camera though, and did you have to spend a bundle on flashes etc. Or did you find it to be a deal of a lifetime overall. Review away...

I'm a professional content shooter and have been for 6 years . . I have probably 100K in stuff around here and in stroage. . this camera I picked up for 3099 . . . it's just a back up to my d2x, and it cost about 5.5K when I got it last year . . just had my d70 converted to IR for some sex art stuff . . .
Care to donate one of those cameras you have laying around ;)
I tried to get one of my s3's to ya when I changed systems . . love the heck out of these pro nikons bodies and that's a fact, but I get good images out af any gear I use to be honest . . it's what ya see and how ya go about it. that's all there is too it really
It's awesome to have a high end camera (such as the D2X/H, Mark II, etc).. but if all you do is web stuff, the typical 4-7MP cameras are sufficient. So long as they have decent optics and allow you to fiddle with WB and at least pick the points that the AF uses, if not some manual fine adjust.
Personally I dig the Canon Powershot S70. Has a few problems but if you know what they are you can 1) avoid them or 2) fix them in your digital darkroom.
edit: Oh yeah, and that chick is cute as hell. Nice pic. How about a login to check out the site? ;)

the non pro bodies won't deliver the 'speed' I need to shoot at. lots of content to gather and not much time to gather it . . I tried the pro-sumer bodies and had to move on to pro gear . .
don't have a log on to that site and the client doesn't even have the content yet any way it would be cheergirls.com
if you have a d2x and a d70 why a d2hs?
Whats the advantage of that came over a d2x?
didn't like the d70 . . this is the second one I've had and I just don't like the 'toy' feel to it and the images are only so-so to my eyes at times . . the d2x is amazing and the d2hs is too, and cheaper than the d2xs . . the 4 megapixel is doing the job and I now have a reliable, solid back up the the X and the d70 has been converted to an art camera . .
