    The President Over Stepped His Authority

    This is a huge blow the the administration

    Supreme Court blocks Bush, Gitmo war trials

    WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that President Bush overstepped his authority in ordering military war crimes trials for Guantanamo Bay detainees. The ruling, a rebuke to the administration and its aggressive anti-terror policies, was written by Justice John Paul Stevens, who said the proposed trials were illegal under U.S. law and international Geneva conventions.

                              I voted democratic both times. 3rd term is out of the question. His approval ratings are at an all time low. Even people that voted for him don't approve of his job performance now. Besides there's a 2 term limit.

                                                                      Presidents are limited to only two terms here, although there was a special exception made for F. Roosevelt during WWII that is unlikely to ever happen again. Or maybe they imposed the limit formally after his presidency, really not sure on that.

                                                                      Anyway Bush will be gone after 2008.
