I got married last January to a girl I had met the previous August. I want to have kids and sometimes you just gotta do what your instincts tell you and take the opportunity you are given rather than waiting forever for perfection.
It was either take a chance with the girl at hand or go back to the game.
My wife is much younger and hotter and yah she is a trophy bride in most respects. Am I gonna face trouble down the road? Maybe. But I am in this with my eyes open and to achieve a goal (kids) so I am ready. In the meantime it has been bliss.

wow, congrats. never though i'd see quiet getting married. just hope you aren't getting into things too fast though, i thought you just broke up with someone a couple weeks back.
as for the whole marriage debate, its not for everyone. i think a lot of people rush into it when they are still in the early stages of the relationship before they get a chance of seeing how the couple works together when shit falls apart and the newness of the relationship is gone. my girlfriend is still pissed at me for saying people should live together for 5 years before getting married. of course there are exceptions. you just gotta hope you luck out and found someone who compliments you completely.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment
