I guess he means send payment to the cc even it has no negetive balance on it. For example. your cc limite is 20k and you did not spend any money using it, but u still send in a check 20k for payment.

yes you can do this, but check with your bank because some (citibank for example) won't let you spend more than your limit in 1 day. Other institutions - such as AMEX *CREDIT* (not charge) will require notification of the transaction first.
