I've finally moved away from online gaming and want to get a 360... what games can you suggest?
I think I might get some sports games, as I tend to enjoy them a lot.

I regularly play Battlefield 2: Modern Combat & Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter on Xbox Live. I've also got Perfect Dark Zero, Full Auto, The Outfit, Hitman: Blood Money & Condemned: Criminal Origins. And tomorrow, when it shows up at Gamestop, I'm picking up Over G Fighters (online capable combat flight game). Xbox Live is pretty fucking fun. And I don't know anything about pirating games. I have enough money I can buy all the games I want. =) I think the developers deserve my money.

There are not that many good games. Fortunately the ones that matter from xbox are fully back compatable - GTA San Andreas and Halo2! As for new games Tomb Raider is good. Hitman is great but both are way to short. Finished them in a weekend. But some replayability to them. Oblivion will suck you in for a solid month, its the best title for the 360 hands down. Battlefield is ok, but no planes and flying the choppers is harder than it needs to be.
Overall I'm more stoked than ever for ps3, but we do have saints row, and gears of war coming out soon for 360 and ofcourse there's always GTA which may be exclusive to 360 (deal in the works) and ofuckcourse HALO 3!!! But both of those won't be out for at least a year

No it's not. To get the XBOX 360 with the 20 GB HDD you pay $400. To get the wi-fi( which comes with the PS3 ) that's $100. If you want the HD-DVD that's extra. They haven't put a price on it, but I assume it's going to be at least $200 sicne you can't touch a regualr HD-DVD player for under $500.Originally posted by The Ghost

Not many new games are. For example NFL HEAD coach is not backwards compatable. Inf fact many games aren't. Kind of shitty to buy an XBOX 360 because you have a huge collection of XBOX game and you can't play half of them.Originally posted by Joey B. LoComment

They are promising they will be offering patches soon for them. So eventually all games will be fully bc. But you're right atm its bs that they are aren't.
