i grew up in small town montana, and I went down to this old ranchers place to go fishing. When I went there, I would always stop in and visit. One day he told me 'be careful down there, theres a coon swimming in the river' I just laughed and told him I wasnt scared of a racoon - then his wife told me he was talking about jimmy good, a black guy from down the road LOL
then i joined the marines, and went to so cal. Was talking to the guy that lived next door to me in the barracks,(a black guy) and he was talking about 'hood rats' and I thought he was talking about 'hutterites' (german people that split of from the group that the amish are from) when I finally figured out he was saying hood rats, i didnt feel so bad that the conversation was not making any sense to me.
I know they arent bad things, but I think they are funny.
