WSJ: Google GBUY online payments to launch 6/28...

The Wall Street Journal confirmed today, that Google's entry into the online payments arena. Called Google GBuy, the new service allows consumers to make online transactions without a credit card. The announcement has been expected for months...

Here is how the service will work: Consumers who search for items like "shoes" or "strollers" on Google?s search site will see text ads with a symbol or icon designating advertisers that accept GBuy payments. Shoppers normally would have clicked on an ad and been linked to that merchant?s Web site. Now, while they will still be linked to the merchant?s site, they will go through a different checkout process integrated with Google... more

doubful since they don't allow adsense on adult sites. Nor do they allow adult site teh option of video or image ads with adwords like they do non adult sites. Not to mention that adwords ads that a e for adult now have to be reviewed FIRST, which sometimes can take days, instead of being instantly on like non-adult.

Not really. It will be popular, but that dosent mean its good. Just like Gmail, which IMHO is a piece of shit. Google has alot of users that worship it (without regard to anything other than fact that Google made it) and will immediately begin the pro-Gpay drivel when this thing launches as they smear thier logo feces all over the place.

I dont trust Google with my financial information any more than I trust Paypal. Both companies have already shown thier willingness to aid the government in its mission to learn all of our penis sizes and every other detail about us.
