That's what sucks about soccer, the 'better' team doesn't always win on the day. Whilst some would argue otherwise, with a mix of ref calls and pure luck making up the result in a lot of matches I am catching I am kind of finding soccer a bit frustrating. I mean when people wait 4 years for a world cup, get fanatical about it, and than games are decided by 1 or 2 goals in matches that could of gone either way it kind of sucks. On top of that I think referee's absolutely destroying the world cup, it is about time they bring in a fucking video referee on goal decisions. Robinho is injured (someone asked earlier).
Brazil played like we always play, enough to win. After we scored a couple of times the offense decided that 2 goals was enough and they didn't have to run.
At the end of the game we could have scored an extra goal or two.
3 - 0 is a good score for this round. Ronaldo is the biggest scorer of all times in World Cup, and Brazil won the last 11 matches in World Cup (another record). I don't know why so many people are complaining.I'm just a newbie.Comment

Personally I don't think it was the ref's fault, Ghana themselves were to blame for the other two goals. They did play better than Brazil, but lacked the end product.Originally posted by tranza

Disagree totally. The only place there was a 'CLASS DIFFERENCE' was in the finishing, but that made all the difference in the end. In every other respect Brazil were more or less outplayed. 22 men competing for 1 ball at the field, and the team which have the quality, experience, technical ability, and confidence to be successful takes this ball and gets it to the net.
This is very tangible and real things, not some random shit like "luck", "forunte"...
If the man cant score from 2 meters and hits the keeper, if defensive line couldnt properly complete the offiside trick 2 of 3 times in first 5 minutes, this is not a luck or absence of one, but the lack of quality or experience or some other very SPECIFIC things that comes to you when you play a lot on world class level and actually win something.
When you dont want to go deep into the game, you always writing it off to luck or whatever. When in real world its the small things that getting mastered by the better ones.
Brazil is the better one. They werent running, they really played football only 30 or so minutes, they allowed Ghana all kind of offense, whatever you want... But they won 3-0.
Theres no luck in sport and in football specifically.
