Or you could get Solar since you live in Vegas. So over the next 5 years you would pay the same amount you do now, until you pay $0 and maybe even get a buy back/credit from the electric company. Or pay $15 a month + tax to dispose of the waste in that giant toxic dump just around the corner from ya.
It will take longer to build the Nuc plant, and solar is a way better solution for 40% of America.
Many many solutions better than building Nuc plants when half are already empty and not being inspected for safety and the ones that are active aren't safe from terrorist attacks.
