Sell Your Mainstream Domains For Retail Prices

If you have great mainstream domains for sale, I'm running more ads in the Wall Street Journal and also now Advertising Age. This reaches the types of end user buyers that will pay retail prices for domains, instead of selling them at wholesale to other domains on domain boards.

WSJ ads run for 3 issues with 7.8 Milllion Ad Impressions. Ad Age runs 4 weeks and reaches 1.2 Milion Ad Impressions. WSJ reaches corporate buyers. The new Ad Age campaign targets advertising and marketing execs looking for creative stuff for clients, as well as corp marketing execs looking for brand ideas, and lots of entrepreneurs.

For details and to include your domains in the nexts ads in July e-mail [email protected]

Mainstream domains only and they should be priced $5K and up.
If you would like to develop your domains, you can lease inexpensive foreign labor
from the leaders in the field at iWebmasters.com TO LOWER YOUR COSTS AND INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTION!

WSJ is $185 3 Issues includes National, International and Online Editions.

      Sample Wall St. Journal Ad

Plust domains get a free featured listing on my site until they sell. So you benefit from other advertising as well since that's the main landing page.

KRL, can/you you setup each ad with a unique subdomain to track ROI?
                  i.e.

                  AdAge.BigTicketDomains.com
                  and
                  WSJ.BigTicketDomains.com

it makes perfect sense... because I'm already planning round 2 with you and round 1 isn't even set up yet. not a dealbreaker, just a suggestion.

most importantly, has anyone reported success with these ads? I know it's hard to track/verify and it won't affect my desire to co-op with you, I'm just curious...

hmmm.... maybe I'll list Curious.com as well.

I'll be emailing you when I get back from my road trip day after tommorow if that's ok on the time frame. (27th of June)

I don't have a full list together and pricing or I'd send it now.

Thanks for the heads up man.

I think that may screw up the traffic from the ad.

Heck yeh. Last ad I sold a domain for $45k at full retail. If I posted it here probably wouldn't even sell. But a retail end user saw it and bought it. The seller couldn't believe it. We've had some good sales and all at top dollar.

                      Curious.com is a good one.

Keep in mind too you'll get type-in traffic too from the ad and from being listed on the site as wel. People are curious to see what's on these sites.

hmmm, so there's no way to track ROI... to know if AdAge readers even cared except for Q&A. that's too bad, i mean you could refresh each sub directly to homepage to track, or perhaps have something on the site that says "where did you learn about us", before they get in... it's no big deal, because for $150 it's worth it for me. but if you tracked ROI, I would know whether or not to buy more spots next round... or buy spots every week with you.

wow. full retail. what am amazing concept. I'm tired of having to "justify" my prices to everyone... especially since we all value domains differently, it's not an exact science. I make substantially more when i sell domains to people who simpy "like the way the domain sounds".

I'm counting on the spillover traffic. I'll considering placing the same domains in both pubs. When is the cut-off date and expected publish date?

I can see the volume surges every time ads run. I like the subdomain in concept but I think it would mess up people figuring out how to enter it because they might forget the dot since most ads rarely have a subdomain.

Yeh, selling at retail rocks. And you're right. That's what they say, "I like the way it sounds"

As soon as you can on the ad submission. We'll be publishing these this coming month July.
