what are the odds?? I JUST got this email:
Etelegate.com would like to apologize for the delay in your June 15th payout. It has been brought to our attention that the reason you have not been paid is for one of the following reasons:
The username/password you have entered in the website section of your admin area does not allow Etelegate to access your content for your website(s).
The Etelegate payment page integration link on your website(s) is either not working or not found.
Your website(s) are not working.
The merchant contract has not been signed, scanned and uploaded in your admin area.
Please correct any of the above 4 issues that apply to your company and email us a reply to this email or create a support ticket when finished, so our risk department can verify you?re in compliance and your June 15th payment will be processed immediately. Once you?re in compliance, your future payments will not be delayed.
It has been a challenge with the migration from IBILL to Etelegate, and we thank you for your loyalty and patience in this transition. Etelegate would also like to advise you that you may call our office from 10a.m. PST-5p.m. PST Mon-Friday for all of your client services needs and help you to get compliant so that we can continue processing your transactions and making on time payments.
Etelegate will be offering many new features to our webmasters by the end of this month including ePassporte direct payments, weekly payments on Fridays instead of bi-monthly payments currently, email receipt and order page customization, advanced re-billing options, Discover and JCB payment options, and many more to come.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to you resolving the above issue(s) so that we can process your payment. Thank you for your business.
Sincerely,
Etelegate.com

Yep... little point in hoping for much from there. Never got hit in the end by iBill but still would be nice to see em pay a price for ... basically defrauding a load of people. It did cost iBill clients money to let them throw it down the drain - ironic.Originally posted by aicoEh, don't care anymore. If they ever pay, which they won't, it will be just a nice extra bit.
On other bad debts over the years.. well, gave up counting around $300K - it would be nice to get even .10 cents on the dollar of that lot, but fat chance. BUT, ya remember the names and who not to trust

Sheesh!! When the hell will they stop lying and trying to defraud by removing data already in their system and using this as an excuse not to pay?
This is a very OLD excuse and used by iBill while Galanis had his fingers in the pie (tho, that situation has not changed - he still does - along with his thieving father).
PS... Any "risk assessment" is not with etelegate/iBill - the risk is totally with their clients who may still be dealing with them.Last edited by Webby; 06-22-2006, 01:26 AM.XXX TLD's - Another mosquito to swat.Comment

We didnt get the excuse email or the June 15 wire.
We did get a wire for June 1st, but it was 40% short and when we asked about it they said it was due to a problem with check transactions. Well we have no check transactions at all, so why that would impact our payout is beyond us.
When our Gkard account was sent over to Etelegate it was actually still a sizeable amount of revenue. It has now dwindled into insignificance at Etelegate.Comment

as far as i know they still owe money. And that money is long gone.
with any 3rd party processor, they got you by the balls. All you can do is pray that they do not get in trouble. In a way it is like pay sites being affiliates of these processors. They have the members and members data. And we get paid through them, so it is very scary to think about it.Comment

It can only take a small pin prick to deflate the whole balloon and attract "unwelcome" eyes on iBill. Even if it's a low value check - that could be meaningfulOriginally posted by debsdeepthroatno they wont pay, thier lawyer says they have no funds...I even have an nsf check here from them that the lawyer basically said..."oh well no money" about
